Born June 21, 1899, in New York State, he was a son of Albert and Florence BEARDSLEY SCHUKNECHT. He married the former Laura PIKE, who survives. Mr. SCHUKNECHT was a retired farmer and a 67-year member of the Hume United Methodist Church. Surviving besides his widow are two sons, Harry SCHUKNECHT of Portland and Gordon SCHUKNECHT of Blairsville, Ga.; a daughter, Mrs. Arthur (Lorna) BLISS of Fillmore; eight grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. In the Hume United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Joseph P. TURCER, Jr., pastor, officiating. Burial Alger Cemetery, town of Hume.
