Mr. VAN NAME was born September 5, 1878 in Centerville, the youngest of three sons and three daughters born to the late Byron and Emmaline SLOCUM VAN NAME. He and his wife lived in Fillmore where he worked for the Borden Milk Company. Mr. VAN NAME is survived by two sons, Kenneth of Fillmore and Percy of Newport, N.Y.; three grandsons, one granddaughter, 16 nieces and nephews, 47 great nieces and nephews and 91 great, great nieces and nephews. His brothers Will and Frank and three sisters, Mrs. Julia HATCH, Mrs. Nellie McFARLAND VEDDER and Mrs. Mary HERRICK, preceded him in death. Funeral services were held Tuesday morning at 11 o'clock at the Kopler funeral home, Fillmore with the Rev. Mae SHAFFER MOORE officiating.
