Jerome Reynolds and his sister Fern went to live in this hotel with their Aunts, sisters to Maude Wixsom Reynolds, who died in childbirth when Jerome Clark Reynolds was born. Fern and Jerome were in an orphanage for the first 6 or 7 years of their lives. The orphanage my not have been in Friendship. We have no information on it or the hotel.Jerome and Fern's Father was John C. Reynolds and John's Father was Abel T. Reynolds, his wife Fanny Gorton.
