JOHN BOLLER ENGLISH Mrs. John ENGLISH, 71, was born in Wyoming, New York, March 5, 1869, the daughter of Rudolph and Katherine BOLLER, and departed this life on May 30, 1940. She leaves a good name in this community to which she came as a young girl. On November 6, 1890 she was united in marriage to John ENGLISH, beginning a beautiful companionship which lasted for 50 years. Three children were born to them: E. Blanche and Kathryn NELSON, who preceded their mother in death, and Mrs. Carol SHANER of Bolivar, who with her father survive to mourn the passing of a devoted wife and mother. There also are three brothers; John BOLLER of Cuba, Albert BOLLER of Canisteo, and W. BOLLER of Nelson, Pa. She was a faithful member of the Hume Methodist Church for many years. Her pastor, Rev. Harold WASS, officiated at the services conducted in her late home, with burial in Alger Cemetery. Out of town relatives and friends attending the funeral services were present from: Nelson, Pa., Cuba, Silver Springs, Canisteo, Holley, Cherry Valley, Deckerville, Michigan, St. Clair, Michigan, Sandusky, Michigan, Bolivar, Richburg, Emelton, Pa., Perry, and Fillmore beside the scores of friends from nearby villages.
