Iowa census records show he was born in NY and father was from NY and mother from Mass., I just don't know where in NY. He might of gone by the name of JOHN BROWER or J.J. BROWER. I have a picture of his tombstone and it's a bit hard to read but I have a birthdate of around August 27, 1815. View it on my webpage along with pictures of Jeremiah John Brower. His tombstone reads J.J. BROWER. I know he lived in or near Cass County, Indiana for a period of time, but I don't know for how long. He later migrated to Iowa in 1853. Jeremiah and his wife Sarah had one son born in Indiana on May 19, 1850. His name was John Wesley Brower. All other children were born in Iowa as they migrated to Iowa around 1853.
