His Death Certificate states he was born in New York. Relatives believed it to be Albany NY (on March 31, 1853), same as where his sister lived. I did not think that his sister ever married. When she died, she left a will. According to family she gave money to Albert's children with one exception. Harry Claude MaGee. Albert and Alice were married 12-26-1881. Harry was born July 1, 1879, which led us to believe this to be the reason he was excluded in the will. I have not been able to locate a copy of this will because of the missing, sister's name. Albert's Death Certificate also gives his parents names as JOHN MCGEE and FANNIE LUKE from SCOTLAND. I have yet to find any record of their death's. It is possible that they passed while Albert and his sister were young and they may have gone to Godparents or relatives. Are you located in NY? You may want to look for court records of the child passing to guardians and a will. Do you know the date of Harriet's death? I hope you are right about this relationship. I need help in this search.
