Burial will take place in Houghton. She died Wednesday morning at the Warsaw Hospital after a brief illness. Born July 30, 1894, in Fillmore, New York, Miss Gillette was the daughter of Benjamin K. and Dell PRATT GILLETTE. For 39 years she was employed by Houghton College as dining hall dietician. She lived with her cousin, Dr. Freida GILLETTE, who is chairman of the Division of History and Social Studies at Houghton. She retired in June, 1963, because of ill health. A member of the Fillmore Wesleyan Methodist Church for many years, she taught a woman's Bible class there. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Kopler Funeral Home, Fillmore.
