CHAPMAN of this hamlet died Saturday (April 27, 1968) at the Wyoming County Community Hospital in Warsaw, following a brief illness. She was born Jan. 29, 1884, in the Town of Hume, a daughter of Stephen and Grace FINNEMORE BRIGGS. She was a lifelong resident here. She married Albert CHAPMAN, who died in 1954. Mrs. Chapman was a 50 year member of the Aurora Chapter, 241, Order of the Eastern Star. Surviving are several nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the family residence in Wiscoy where funeral services will be held Wednesday (May 1, 1968) at 2 p.m. The Rev. James H. MILLS, pastor of the Wiscoy Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in the Pine Grove Cemetery at Fillmore. [Transcribed by Louise Y.
