CLARK of Houghton, and a teacher in the Taylor Hill district, died in the Genesee Country Hospital, Fillmore, Thursday morning, following a fall from a horse which she was riding Monday afternoon. Miss CLARK, it is reported, was on her way to Rushford late Monday, on horseback, and near Brookside the animal stepped from the dirt road on to the slippery pavement. As it had been raining, the horse slipped and fell, throwing her from its back. Witnesses state her foot caught in the stirrup and she was dragged some distance before her horse was stopped. She was brought to the Fillmore Hospital where examination by physicians revealed a double fracture of the skull and she had remained in an unconscious condition since the accident.
