CHARLES BURDICK Mrs. Effie Ellwood BURDICK died Sunday, January 19, 1969, at Santa Maria, California, after a long illness. She was born July 6, 1886, in the Town of Hume, a daughter of Warren and Rose CLUTE PECK. She lived in the area until four years ago, when she moved to California. She is survived by a daughter, Miss Bernice ELLWOOD of Santa Maria, California; two sons, Kenneth ELLWOOD of Wiscoy and Merion ELLWOOD of Centerville; two sisters, Mrs. Ross WIDRIG of Salamanca and Mrs. Stella ALDRICH of Fillmore; and seven grandchildren. Friends may call at the Kopler Funeral Home at Fillmore Thursday, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral and committal services will be held there Friday, January 24, 1969 at 2 p.m. The Rev. James NOETHER, pastor of the Centerville United Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Alger Cemetery in the Town of Hume. [Transcribed by Louise Y.
