CLARK, 85, of this town, died Monday after a long illness. He was born in the town of Hume, and had spent most of his life here. Mr. CLARK was united in marriage to Carrie M. KNIGHT of this town June 10, 1873, who preceded him in death by nearly two years, passing away July 12, 1934. Surviving are two daughters and two sons, Kathryn A. and Valeria B., at home, Bert R. of Superior, Montana, and Nathaniel of Hume, and four grandchildren. Funeral services were held Wednesday at two o'clock at the house with burial at Belfast, Rev. Harold WASS of Fillmore officiating. [Northern Allegany Observer obituary, transcribed by Louise Y.
