Hi, My grandfather was naturalized in Allegany County. The county was able to tell me this but they did not have the book from 1855 with his record. Can anybody help me locate the record? I don't know about Allegany Co. but in Wyoming County, I got my GG-Grandfather's and his brothers from the county clerk's office. They were very helpful, pleasent and only charged my 50 cents a page to copy.
