JAMES BENNETT FILLMORE - Mrs. Grace D. BENNETT, 55, of the Town of Hume, died Monday (Aug. 4, 1969) in the Olean General Hospital following a short illness. Mrs. BENNETT was born at Pike, June 15, 1914, a daughter of George and Pearl JACOY MERRELL. On Feb. 4, 1930, she married James BENNETT, who survives. Also surviving are a daughter Mrs. Gary (Mary) YENCER of Dalton; three sons, Donald BENNETT of Nunda, and Melvin BENNETT and Roger BENNETT, both of Fillmore; 17 grandchildren; three brothers, Wallace MERRELL, Kenneth MERRELL, and Gerald MERRELL, all of Fillmore; two sisters, Mrs. George PAPKE of Buffalo, and Mrs. Erma FRANCE of Rossburg; and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Kopler Funeral Home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held there Thursday (Aug. 7, 1969) at 2 p.m. The Rev. Burdette FULLER, pastor of the Fillmore United Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in the Alger Cemetery in the Town of Hume. [Transcribed by Louise Y.
