We live in Virginia and my husband is disabled with severe MS so travel is not possible. I couldn't be sure if the AUSTIN line in Genesee was attached to my line. I know that CHARLES AUSTIN was born in New York but the info gets very cloudy from there. Some of the facts just seemed to match John W. My ancestor, CHARLES AUSTIN, b NY 1840 and wife CAROLINE ROSS, b PA about 1846, have a son (my g-grandfather), FRANKLIN E. AUSTIN, b PA 1871. We have no definite info on sibs except possibly FLORA & MARY AUSTIN born in the late 1860's. I have a few census sheets (that I'm sure of) for Franklin in the 1900's in Pa but before that he and his family don't seem to show up. Anything you can find on CHARLES in New York would be greatly appreciated. This is a real brick wall. Thank you.
