Warner Rev. Elbert E. WARNER, 72, pastor of the Black Creek M.E. Church, Black Creek, died suddenly at the home of Glenn MILLER, Curriers, where he had gone from his home the day before for a short visit. Rev. WARNER had served the charge at Black Creek for the past year. He had served in the ministry for 39 years, having in the past served at Curriers, Short Tract, Pavilion, Jordon and Java. He is survived by his wife Florence, a daughter, Mrs. Lena STEVENS, Venice Center; three sons, Elzer, Auburn; Elwood, Syracuse, and Wesley, of Silver Creek; two sisters, Mrs. Ida WAITE, Royal Oak, Michigan; Mrs. Mary MORRIS, Lockport; two brothers Charles and Fred of St. Johns, Michigan, and several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held from the M.E. Church at Short Tract Friday at two o'clock and burial will be made in the Short Tract Cemetery. Rev. Harold WASS will officiate.
