Edward FITZGERALD, 85, a life long resident of Fillmore, died at the Genesee Country Hospital June7th after a long illness. He was born in Brantford, Ontario, the son of Edward and Mary (SLATTERY) FITZGERALD. On Feb. 22, 1876 he married Mary Ann FITZGERALD, who died Dec. 21, 1925. To this union were born three children, Frank, who died in 1913, Mary Ellen, who died in 1900, and John, now a resident of Savannah, Ga. The funeral took place Monday, June 10th, from St. Patricks Church, with burial in Holy Cross Cemetery. [Northern Allegany Observer obituary, transcribed by Louise Y.
