HARRIS, former Fillmore resident, who passed away at his home in Belfast, at 2 a.m. May 28, were held in the Belfast M.E. Church, and at the home Tuesday afternoon, May 31. Mr. HARRIS was 72 years of age. Relatives and friends of Mr. HARRIS filled the church auditorium to pay their last respects. In charge of the funeral service were the Rev. Mr. ASQUITH, pastor of the Belfast M.E. Church where Mr. HARRIS held his membership, and the Rev. Mr. John MANN of Scio, close friend of the family. A short prayer service at the home preceded the 2:30 church memorial. In paying tribute to the life of Mr. HARRIS, Mr. MANN spoke of his acquaintance with the deceased as having been one of constant admiration for a faith which had held firm through extremes of spiritual and physical suffering.
