They lived in Grove, Alleghany, Ny until after the 1870 census. Can anyone find them in a 1880 census for there? Does anyone know if William was a minister, priest? I have found a couple of William Patterson's in the LDS one for Wisconsin and one for Nebraska. The Wisconsin one sounds more like it but I am wondering. Also can anyone find reference to a son Frank S. or S. Frank attached to William and Mary? Also, does anyone know anything about the mother of Mary Ann who was Parmelia Latham who lived with them either in the 1860 or 1870 census for Grove? I know that William and Mary had the following children: Obed, George, Edward (edwin), Sophia and Theodosia, but not a Frank so far. I have Obed married to a Henrietta, but the only Henrietta that I can find with a daughter Ellen, is married to a Frank, with the maiden name of Schuknecht. Our Henrietta was supposedly born in Hume and her maiden name was e! ither Koontz or Wright. Can anyone help? My brick wall is crushing me! Vicki
