PARKER of 20 Merton Ave., died Thursday (July 16, 1970) at her home following a brief illness. Mrs. PARKER was born Aug. 8,1898, in the Town of Caneadea, a daughter of Patrick A. and Mary GANNON REDDY. In 1933, at Belfast, she married John J. PARKER, who died in January 1942. >From 1918 until 1959, Mrs. PARKER was station agent for the Pennsylvania Railroad, including Belfast and Nunda. She had been elected tax collector for the Town of Caneadea for four two-year terms. Mrs. PARKER was a member of St. Patrick's Church of Belfast and its Altar and Rosary Societies; Order of Railroad Telegraphers; and the American Association of Retired Persons. Surviving are a son, John J. (Jack) PARKER Jr. of Belfast; and six grandchildren. The family will be present at the Wolcott Funeral Home Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A prayer service will be held there Monday (July 20, 1970) at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Requiem High Mass at St. Patrick's Church at 10 a.m. The Rev. Francis J. JANN, pastor, will be celebrant. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery in Belfast. The Rosary will be recited at the funeral home Sunday at 2:30 p.m. [Transcribed by Louise Y.
