D., a resident of Belmont for the past 46 years, died at his home Saturday following an illness of over two years. Dr. HARDY was active in community life as well as in the practice of his profession. He was a Past Master of Belmont Lodge, F. and A. M. and its chaplain at the time of his death; an officer of Belmont Grange, former Assistant District Grand Lecturer of the Order of the Eastern Star, District Record Keeper for the Knights of Maccabees for some years.
