Henry FARNSWORTH, for many years an esteemed resident of this place, passed away at his home on Sunday morning at the age of 82 years. Previous to moving to Fillmore a number of years ago, Mr. FARNSWORTH lived on his farm east of Fillmore. Funeral services were held from the Fillmore M.E. Church Tuesday with the Rev. Harold WASS, pastor, officiating. Burial was made in Pine Grove Cemetery. Although in declining health for a number of months, Mr. Farnsworth had been able to be about town until a few days before his last illness. J. Henry FARNSWORTH, son of Jay and Louisa HOWDEN FARNSWORTH, was born May 20, 1852 in the Town of Hume. He was united in marriage to Miss Helen M. CURTIS on Sept. 23, 1874. To this union were born three children, Lena, who passed away 26 years ago; Miss Maude, who has kept house for him since his wife's death 18 years ago; and Mrs. F. A. ARNOLD of Fillmore. They began housekeeping on Snider Hill which was his home (with the exception of one year at Belvidere) until he moved to Fillmore 32 years ago.
