I got quite a bit of Quick-Messler-Taylor information from one of your cousins. The info that I have is as follows: Caroline Quick was the daughter of Julius Quick and Agnes Rocktaeschel (sp?). She married Gilbert Taylor, who was the son of John Taylor and Alta Mesler. Alta is the daughter of James Mesler, who is my ggg grandfather. Incidentally, Coroline's mother Agnes was a sister to John C Mesler's (son of James)wife Johanna (Anna). We are also related distantly on my paternal side as well; Caroline's daughter Crystal married Guy O Day, my great-uncle. Small world. I would be very interested in any information that you have on the Mesler line, even if only to verify info that I have already collected. I am happy to share any info that I have as well.
