IRWIN a resident here for the past 50 years, died in the Jones Memorial Hospital Wellsville Sunday (April 28, 1968) after a brief illness. Mr. IRWIN was born February 25, 1890, at New Market, Ontario, Canada, a son of Joseph and Bertha ROBINSON IRWIN. He was married to Ella Irene SCOTT, who died in 1966. He was a retired machinist of the Worthington Corp. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. William (Bernice) SANDFORD of Hume, Mrs. Kirk (Esther) HAMPTON of Cuba Lake; six grandchildren; two brothers, Jesse IRWIN and Ralph IRWIN, both of Perry; one sister, Mabel IRWIN of Alexandria, Va.; and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Wolcott Funeral Home in Wellsville where relatives will be present from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today and Tuesday. Funeral services will be held there Wednesday (May 1, 1968) at 2 p.m. The Rev. Dwight MONTGOMERY of Rushford, pastor of the Caneadea Methodist Church, will officiate.
