YOUNG, mention of whose death was made in this paper last week, was born in the town of Caneadea on Sept. 24, 1866. Her parents were Mr. and Mrs. John MEINEKA. Most of her girlhood days were spent in Belfast until she moved to Fillmore about 1887. In 1892 she was united in marriage to Wilson L. YOUNG of this place and since that time had spent her life here with the exception of periods during which she with her husband and members of her family lived for several months at a time in California and in Florida where Mr. and Mrs. YOUNG owned a summer home. Following an attack of illness at her home in St. Petersburg, Fla., several weeks ago, she was removed to her home here and passed away Monday, June 8. Besides her husband, she is survived by three children, Beulah M., Dora H. and Hollis G., also three grandchildren, Ansel G., Norman L. and Wilson M. YOUNG. Other surviving relatives are two sisters, Mrs. Grace SHEAR, Belfast, Mrs. Frank W. BECK, Erie, Pa., and a brother, John MEINEKA, Warwick, D.(not clear) Funeral services were held at her late home Wednesday, June 10, Rev. Harold WASS, pastor of the Fillmore M. E. Church of which she was a member, officiating and burial was made in Pine Grove Cemetery. The Order of the Eastern Star conducted the last rites of the Order at the grave.
