With the exception of a few years, her entire life was spent in the town of Allen. On March 30, 1892, she was united in marriage to Wm. A. SMITH. Two children, a son and a daughter, blessed this union. Although she had been in poor health for several years, she was only confined to her bed but a few weeks. All that medical care and loving hands could do was done for her, but she passed to her eternal rest at her home March 4, 1935. Those left to mourn her loss are the husband, a son Otis, a daughter Mary, two grandsons, several nieces and a nephew, besides many other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends from Olean, Bradford, Pa., Elmira, Buffalo, Henrietta, Elba, Fowlerville, Sonyea, Belfast, Houghton and other nearby places were in attendance at the funeral which was held at the home Thursday afternoon, March 7, 1935 at two o'clock. Rev. J. Morgan REESE officiated; burial at Short Tract cemetery. The ? of which she had been a member since January, 1912, conducted the services at the house.
