Young Webster lost a prominent and faithful citizen when Winthrop G. YOUNG formerly of Fillmore passed away. Mr. Young was eighty-one years of age and until about a year ago led a very active life. Since that time rheumatism has caused him considerable suffering, but through it all he was able to be around and remained cheerful despite suffering. On the Fourth of July he spent part of the day visiting his daughter, Mrs. John BAGNEY at West Webster. About a week ago he began to grow worse and the end came last Tuesday night. He leaves his widow, Mrs. Attie YOUNG; one daughter, Mrs. John BAGNEY of West Webster; one granddaughter, Mrs. S.B. MORRISON and her son Winthrop G. of Webster; one sister, Mrs. Louis WAGONER of San Diego, California; one brother, Everett, of Detroit. [Northern Allegany Observer obituary, transcribed by Louise Y.
