Classification: Obituary Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/BUB.2ACI/5954 Message Board Post: ELIZABETH SHAY Mrs. Elizabeth SHAY, widow of Daniel SHAY, succumbed to a brief illness, Monday morning at eight o'clock, at the Olean General Hospital. Mrs. SHAY had only been ill one week. She was born at Coudersport, Pa. and for a number of years had resided in Fillmore, coming to that city from that place in 1926. Mrs. SHAY was a member of St. Mary of the Angels' Church. Surviving are one son, Harry D. SHAY, Olean; one granddaughter, Kathleen SHAY, Olean; one sister, Mrs. S. J. KENNEDY, Kerrville, Texas, and several nieces and nephews. The body was removed to the Lennon Mortuary at Allegany and will be taken to the family residence, 401 York Street. Funeral services were conducted at St. Mary of the Angels' Church, Thursday morning at nine o'clock. Burial will be in the family plot in Fillmore, N.Y.
