Bert MAIN, 73, died in the Fillmore hospital Sunday, after a brief period of illness. He had been a resident of this community for 32 years. Funeral services were held from Wiles' Funeral Parlors Tuesday afternoon, Rev. Harold WASS officiating, and burial was in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Friendship. Mr. MAIN was born in Centerville, Pa. , the son of L.B. and Obiah MAIN. He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Jay QUICK of Berkeley, Calif., and Mrs. E. W. SPRINGER, McKean, Pa., also a brother John of Syracuse. Another brother, L.C. MAIN died August 3rd, 1938. [Northern Allegany Observer obituary, transcribed by Louise Y.
