MARGARET HAIRE HALL 1940 Mrs. Margaret HAIRE HALL passed away in the Nunda Hospital Sunday, November 26, following an illness of only a few weeks. She was born Jan. 1, 1851, in Armagle County, Ireland, coming to this country in 1870 at the age of 19. In 1871 she was married to Wm. HALL of Granger, to which five children were born, the eldest, Thos. J. HALL, and the youngest, Wm. H. HALL, passing away several years ago, also Sara Elizabeth, who died in infancy. Since the death of her husband she has made her home with her daughters, Mrs. H.T. SCHOLES and Mrs. A.R. MILLS of Rossburg. She also leaves to mourn her loss, seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren besides nieces and nephews. Mrs. HALL was highly respected and loved by all who knew her. Her happiness consisted in helping others. She was a member of the Short Tract M.E. Church at which place they resided for many years. Funeral services were conducted at Duryea's Funeral Home in Nunda, Tuesday Afternoon, Rev. S.H. STOKES officiating. Burial was made in the Short Tract Cemetery.
