I have been somewhat scarce the last month as I was involved with an arts and crafts show. It is now over, and I can return to a normal life of genealogy and quilting. Thank you all for your patience. The update to the Allegany page will be up within the next couple of days. As to the obits on the list, rest assured that they will continue to be posted. If anyone has a problem with the number of posts, I suggest changing their subscription to the digest version. You can scan the titles and only open those that are of interest to you. I don't want anyone to feel that they should not post information because it will make list "too busy" The purpose of this list is to get information out there and you never know when that obit or post may be the breakthrough you have been looking for. Melissa has been doing a wonderful thing for all of us and I well know the time and effort it takes, as do the many on this list who have voiced their thanks. I add my thanks, too, as one was one of my family. Those obits will remain in the archives where they will be accessible in the future for those looking for their ancestors.
