I've seen the spelling both ways. These are possibly brothers. I've found them on the 1860/1870 census's. They are listed on the same page as being in New Hudson, Allegany Co., NY, both listed as born in NJ. Isaac born about 1807, has a wife Eliza, Charles born about 1805, has a wife of Samantha. I have found both of them buried in Sayre Cemetery, New Hudson, Allegany, New York. Along with their wives. I'm trying to find out if indeed they are brothers and who their parents might be.
