Born in the Town of Hume on April 24, 1878, daughter of John and Adelphia SMITH, she resided in and near Wiscoy all her life. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband, Benjamin, three children, Albert, of Letchworth Park, Adelbert, Lockport and Mrs. Helen LEET of Fillmore. One daughter, Pearl, died in infancy. Three grandchildren, Albert and Robert PERRY, and Theda LEET. Also her mother, Mrs. Adelphia SMITH, and three sisters, Mrs. Lula SHORT, Rochester, Mrs. Lena WOOD, Rossburg and Mrs. Pearl RUCKDESCHEL, Macedon. Funeral services were held from her late home in Wiscoy, Saturday, March 4th. The Rev. Carlyle SMITH officiated at the services after which she was carried to her last resting place in the Wiscoy Cemetery. She was a good wife and mother and always ready to help those in need.
