Last Sunday morning at the services of the Catholic church the marriage bans of Miss Margaret Egan of this place and Mr P W Reynolds of Belmont were published Their marriage will take place this month. Mr and Mrs Will Gardiner entertained Wednesday evening with a linen and china shower for Miss Lena Burlingame who is soon to be married. All present had a very delightful time.Dainty refreshments were served. The Baptists are observing a day of prayer for missions in their church today. Dr Lena Benjamin of Velore India will be present and talk about her work.She will be a guest of her Aunt Mrs W S Potter who she is staying with.
