Jessie Quindora MYERS was born at Greensburg, Pa. on March 9, 1869. She was united in marriage to John Henry MYERS, October 29, 1889. Six children came to bless this marriage, four boys and two girls. David C. died at the age of two years; Tirzah E. HOLLIS died in 1948 at the age of fifty-seven; George E. died in 1949 at the age of fifty-seven. She lost her husband in 1937. She leaves to mourn her loss two sons and one daughter, Paul H. of Charleoi, Pa. and Frank W. of Centerville, with whom she lived, and Mrs. Merton (Mary) POMEROY of Centerville; three daughters-in-law; and one son-in-law as well as six grandchildren. The family moved to Centerville, November 29, 1920. Had she lived until March 9 she would have been 82 years old. [Northern Allegany Observer obituary, transcribed by Louise Y.
