OLMSTEAD of 16 Norton Street, Belmont, died in Jones Memorial Hospital, Wellsville, Friday, May 4, 1973, after a lingering illness. Born July 20, 1883, in West Almond, she was a daughter of Aron L. and LaMetta HINMAN ADAMS. In 1903, she married Raymond E. OLMSTEAD, who died in 1934. Mrs. OLMSTEAD was a member of the First United Church of Belmont; a charter member and past president of the Belmont American Legion Auxiliary; a Past Matron and Past District Deputy Grand Matron of M. Eva Williams Chapter; Order of the Eastern Star; Past Royal Matron and Past District Deputy Grand Royal Matron; Order of Amaranth; and a member of the Women's Benefit Association. Surviving are a son; Norman J. OLMSTEAD of Mexico, New York; a daughter, Mrs. Alfred (Ruth) TUCKER of Belmont; 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Arthur (Florence) OSGOOD, Belmont. Friends are being received at the Embser Funeral Chapel, 17 Schuyler Street, Belmont, Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held there, Monday, May 7, 1973, at 1:30 p.m. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery, Belmont.
