The 11th annual reunion of the Phillips and Perkins family was held Thursday 28 July at the Island Park at Friendship. There were 129 present from Bradford, Duke Center,Pa, Castile,Olean, Bellmont, Wellsville, Scio,Allenstown,Bolivar, and Friendship. There was a nice program in children who spoke and sang and was greatly appreciated by the members. Members of the family were very glad to learn that we have a right to join the Daughters of the American Revolution as a Stephen Hopkins signer of the Declaration of Independence was a relative being a Grandfathers Perkins mothers brothers son of which we are all proud. Officers were Henry Smith President,LaDurn Dodson vice president,Adelaid Van Cise secretary Clarene Robinson Treasurer The reunion is to be held next year at the same place and it is hoped all will be present as a great number were present this year who never attended before Elaine s888897@aol.com
