Last Tuesday at noon at the home of Mr and Mrs Manley Hobart occurred the marriage of their daughter Ruth to Mr Clarence R Martin of Detroit. The father of the groom Rev D L Martin pastor of First Baptist church York,Pa performed the ceremony.The bride is too well lnown here to need any comment. She is a graduate of Friendship HS and was also a sucessful teacher here. She is graduate of the University of Michigan She is an exceptionally fine young lady and has a host of friends who wish for her much happiness. The groom is a civil engineer in the employ of the government and graduate from the University of Michigan in the same class as Mrs Martin. After Jan 15th they will be at home at 175 Tireman Ave Detroit Michigan. The guests at the wedding from out of town were Rev and Mrs Martin of York,Pa.
