PAYNTER, 81, of Fillmore, died at her home September 25, 1970, after a lingering illness. Born July 12, 1889, in the Town of Hume, she was a daughter of Albert M. and Julia FLENAGIN BESCANCON. She was married to John PAYNTER, who predeceased her. Surviving are a brother, Harold BESCANCON of St. Petersburg, Fla.; and a nephew. Mrs. PAYNTER was a member of the Hume United Methodist Church and Aurora Chapter #248, Order of the Eastern Star, of Fillmore. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Kopler Funeral Home, Fillmore. Services will be held at the Hume United Methodist Church on September 29, 1970, with the Rev. Burdette FULLER, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Alger Cemetery, Town of Hume. Memorials may be made to the Allegany Chapter of the American Cancer Society. [Transcribed by Louise Y.
