I have many ancestors from Allegany County. Mostly from Friendship, Genesee, Little Genesee, Cuba, Bolivar and some from Scio. The names are Ennis, Webster, Warren, Powers, Kenyon, Maxson, Adams, Brown, Prosser, Griswold, Sweetland. Some came in early 1800's Ashbel, George, and Eli Webster, William Powers (Madison County first then Allegany), William and Paul Ennis (wife Luranna Prosser), Ethan Kenyon, George Leroy Maxson, daughter Nancy Maxson. I would love to have any photos. Orlando Warren owned a large Cheese Factory in Cuba, and the Ennis's had a store (I believe in Genesee).
