She became considerably worse on Saturday and failed to rally. Funeral services were held at her late home on Genesee Street on Thursday afternoon, with the Rev. C. H. NASH and the Rev. Harold WASS officiating. Burial was in Friendship Cemetery where the Order of the Eastern Star had charge of the rites. She is survived by one son, Ralph of Geneva. Mrs. PHIPPS was the widow of the late Frank A. PHIPPS who conducted a furniture and undertaking business here for many years. He died in April of 1919.
