PALMER Roy D. PALMER, a lifelong resident of the Tibbetts Hill Road in the Town of Belfast, died in the Cuba Nursing Home December 25, 1962, following a long illness. He was born in Belfast November 17, 1882, a son of the late John and Etta LOUNSBURY PALMER. Mr. PALMER is survived by his widow, the former Hattie THURSTON; three sons, John PALMER of Buffalo, William PALMER of Tonawanda, and Harold PALMER of Angelica; five daughters; Mrs. Eldon BENNETT of Attica, Mrs. Orus NUSBICKEL of Dalton, Mrs. Dean MARSH of Cuba, Mrs. Gertrude McGIBENY of Wellsville, and Mrs.Milton CHAMBERLAIN of Belfast; 15grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins; and a brother, Wesley Palmer of Buffalo. Funeral and committal services will be held at the Wolcott Funeral Home on December 28, 1962, with the Rev. Joseph SUTCLIFFE, pastor of the Varysburg Community Baptist Church, officiating with the assistance of the Rev. Everett HENDRICKSON, pastor of the Belfast Methodist Church.
