DAVIS Charles B. DAVIS, 1061 Highland Ave., Rochester, formerly of Belfast, was fatally injured June 16, 1963, when he was struck by a car near the restaurant where he worked in Rochester. Mr. DAVIS had been working at Cartwright's Restaurant in West Henrietta, a suburb of Rochester, as a cook. He had completed his duties and was crossing Rt.15 to his car. He was struck by a passing car and died instantly. Mr. DAVIS was born in Cuba September 5, 1940, the son of Mrs. June LANG of Scio, and the late Harold DAVIS of Belfast. He attended Belfast Central School and about a year ago moved to Rochester. Surviving are his mother; two sons, Charles DAVIS and George DAVIS, both of Rochester; two sisters, Mrs. Carol LEET and Mrs. Mary Jane BURGESS, both of Rochester; two half-sisters, Mrs. Zelda SHAW, Austin, Texas, and Mrs. Evonne BRASEY, Houston, Texas; a half-brother, Robert LANG of Scio; and his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Ben REDINGTON Funeral and committal services will be held at the Wolcott Funeral Home, Belfast on June 19, 1963, with burial in Riverside Cemetery.
