I have been doing extensive research in putting the Major's of Almond together. Yes, the ones in Hornellsville are related too. I would be happy to send you my file, if needed. I would love to compare notes. I have found no records at all on Stephen Major Jr..who he married or if he had children. I was thinking he might be the father of Lafayette. I am sure Laf was born in Almond, so he has to tie in somehow. Please let me know if you have anything on Stephen Jr. Ihave been in touch with Doris at the AHS. I am waiting to hear back from her in regards to getting a copy of Stephen Major's (Sr) will. If you can help in anyway, I would be most grateful. ~Beth
