Thus I have no official document to prove that. In the 1860 census, she is shown as a ward in the house of William Baker, just two and a half miles from the house where Wesley lived. We have her and Wesley together in various censuses, up until 1892, when Wesley died. After that, Harriet moved to Belding MI to be with Wesley's brother Abram. Then when Abram died, in 1916, she relocated to the Batavia NY area, (as a live in housekeeper,) where I believe she is buried. She and Wesley had five children. The two males were William and Alonzo. I actually have a photo of this William as an adult. I would be glad to share it with you, in case you would like to look for any family resemblances. With this, I think we have pretty much covered my current knowledge of Harriet's history. Hopefully, something will match up. I have my fingers crossed. Bill
