Isaac was born to Albert Houghtlaing and Gitty Van Hoesen abt 1797 in Columbia County, NY. He may also have lived in Almond, Allegany County, NY about 1820. Sarah was probably born as Sarah Brown in about 1808 in either Columbia County or Westchester County, NY. Isaac died in Gun Plain, Allegan County, MI. Sarah probably also died in MI after 1884.
