My ggf was Michael Fitzgerald who had two sons - James Joseph and Patrick. Patrick moved to Danbury, CT but James remained in DC and own a blacksmith shop on 1st street SW. Other families that married into the Fitzgeralds are Maulding, Smyth, Kelley, and Pirrone.
