    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Author: GEschrich Surnames: Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.northam.usa.states.newyork.counties.allegany/7056.1.1.1/mb.ashx Message Board Post: Leslie, The source for this is available from the FHL # 1993402 (Allegany Co., Independence, thru Broome Co., "Town clerk's registers of men who served in the civil war". I can scan the page I suppose as a message attachment here, or let me know how to email you and I can send the page to you direct. So Duane's first wife was not Olive, but the sister of Melissa Chapman, Warren Kenyon's second wife. Thus I am still looking for the husband of Olive Kenyon, who is listed as Olive Gray, married, in the 1865 census. Warren had 3 sisters, with the third one being Damarius. She was married to Benjamin Gorton who died during the civil war, and later married William L. Jones. Thankful Kenyon married James M. Coats who also died in the civil war, and she was my direct ancestor. Her parents were Nathan Kenyon and Nancy Hall. I have been researching all of the siblings of Thankful trying to track back on Nathan/Nancy. I have been in contact with a descendant of Warren Kenyon, and there are links to Gray in there, some of which remain unknown. There was a Theron Gray who married Mary F. Kenyon's sister Emma, but have not placed him yet either. Their brother George married Elizabeth F. Gray, but again, I don't know the tie.
