Gray were William L. Gray and Abbey. Amasa is listed on the Town Clerk report of Officers, Soldiers, and Seamen for the Town of Wellsville, Allegany County, NY, page 6 that was done for each NY town after the Civil War. Abbey's last name is listed, but my copy is not too good. Looks something like "Porch". Just below Amasa is listed his son Duane L. Gray, also of Wellsville. Amasa's birth is listed as 18 Apr 1825, Monroe NY. Duane is 17 Jun 1845, Monroe, NY. It lists county but I can't read it. I am not knowingly related to Amasa, but am searching for husband of Olive Kenyon, who may have been first wife of Duane. Duane, in 1920, lists his status as M2 for marriage, while wife Mary shows M1. I think that this Mary may be a Mary Kenyon, and possible niece of Olive.
