MORSE Harry R. MORSE of 2 River Road, Belfast, died February 18, 1971, at Cuba Memorial Hospital after a lingering illness. Born in the Town of Rushford, May 19, 1895, he was a son of Jason and Emma BRUESSER (BREUSER) MORSE. On November 30, 1927, he married the former Lelah CRONK, who survives. Mr. MORSE had been a farmer and from 1947, to 1967, was employed by the New York State Department of Transportation. He was a member of the Free Methodist Church of Belfast. In addition to his widow, he is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Joseph (Gertrude) MERGLER of Albion; four grandchildren; and a brother, Louis MORSE of Rushford. Funeral services are being conducted in the Wolcott Funeral Home, 65 Main Street, Belfast, on February 2, 1971 with the Rev. Paul E. NEWCOMB, pastor of the Belfast Free Methodist Church and the Rev. O. H. SHELLHAAS, minister of the Free Methodist Church of South Dayton and former Belfast Free Methodist Church pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Fillmore.
