I am looking for information on an Amos Conkey that lived in Allegany Co in 1810. I believe he died shortly after that. I believe he had 3 sons, Amos, Sylvanus and Chauncey. I cannot prove this though. Anyway, the sons end up in Genesee County living with a Mr. Huff. Is anyone researching this Conkey line? Does anyone have access to the book History of Allegany Co, NY 1806-1879. It mentions an Almira Conkey on p. 300. I would love to know what it says. Can anyone look it up?
